My front-end development workflow.
If you’re designing in your browser it’s handy to have a visual colour picker. Before CSS preprocessors arrived, ColorZilla was my tool of choice. This is a simple way to copy the Sass code for a colour instead of a hex, rgb or hsl value.

I set up a virtual machine using PuPHPet to run PHP 5.4 and Drupal 8. Unfortunately the site proved to be very slow to respond.
I really enjoyed DrupalSouth. I wasn’t sure if I would; I’ve often found Drupal 6 and 7 front-end development frustrating and time-consuming. It turns out that Drupal 8 may help ease the pain. The conference also generated some seriously positive vibes for the Drupal community.
